
Ice Alumni Continue To Shine

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indiana Ice announced today that former goaltender Cody Reichard (Miami) was named CCHA (Central Collegiate Hockey Association) Conference Player of the Year, while forward Garrett Roe (St. Cloud) was named to the All-WCHA (Western Collegiate Hockey Association) Third Team.
Reichard, who played parts of two seasons in Indianapolis, led the nation this year in overall GAA (1.48) and winning percentage (.841). He also finished out the year as the CCHA leader in goals-against average (1.23), save percentage (.950), and shutouts (5). The sophomore netminder takes the ice this weekend for the Miami RedHawks in NCAA tournament regional action in Fort Wayne, IN.
Roe played three seasons with the Ice and is the second all-time leading scorer (137 pts) in franchise history. He tied for the team-lead in scoring for St. Cloud this year as he registered 46 points (19G, 27A) in 39 games. The junior forward and the rest of his Huskies' teammates travel to St. Paul, MN this weekend for NCAA tournament regional action.
