Roadrunners Release 2010 Schedule

Edinburg, TX. - The Roadrunners are happy to unveil its 2010 schedule today, which will be a very competitive tour of the ULB.

The 93-game regular season schedule will begin on Thursday, May 27 and run to August 29. The Roadrunners have 49 home games with Opening Day in Edinburg set for Monday, May 31.

The season begins with an exhibition game on Monday, May 24 in Harlingen versus the Rio Grande Valley White Wings while the regular season starts Thursday, May 27 with the Roadrunners traveling to Coastal Bend for a two-game series. The team will travel to Harlingen for Saturday and Sunday games before coming home on Monday, May 31 for the Home Opener at 7:05 versus the Rio Grande Valley White Wings.

The first home stand will see the White Wings (2-games), Amarillo Dillas (4-games); San Angelo Colts (4-games) and Laredo Broncos (4-games) come to town.

The home stand will feature a Kid's Day on Tuesday, June 1 with a special start time of 10:05 am. In addition, Tuesday, June 8 will be the first Two for Tuesday promotion and two Thirsty Thursdays also dot the calendar in the team's first 14-home games.

The schedule will see the Roadrunners making three trips to Amarillo to take on the 2009 ULB Champions and three trips to San Angelo to do battle with last year's regular season first place Colts.

Other highlights on the schedule include:

- Peter Piper Pizza Wednesdays - Five Nights

- Fireworks on the 4th of July Weekend

- Two Doubleheaders - Saturday-July 10 and Sunday-August 29 at 6:05 pm
