
NCAA & High School Baseball Coming To ONEOK Field

Tulsa Drillers News Release
The Tulsa Drillers will not be the only baseball team enjoying the new ONEOK Field this season. The Drillers have also announced the venue will host several other baseball events.
The biggest of those events will be the annual Bedlam match up between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The two in-state rivals will play the first game of the Bedlam Series at the new downtown stadium on Friday, May 7. First pitch is scheduled for 7:35PM.
The Drillers will also continue to host the annual High School Baseball Showcase at ONEOK Field. This year's showcase will be a three-day event that will run April 14-16. It will feature 6 games and 12 different high school teams.
The schedule for Day 1 (April 14) will feature Holland Hall vs. Cascia Hall and Coweta vs. Bishop Kelley. The Day 2 (April 15) match ups will be Collinsville vs. Sperry and Jenks vs. Union. The games on Day 3 (April 16) will include Sand Springs vs. Memorial and Owasso vs. Broken Arrow.
The first game in each of the high school doubleheaders will begin at 5:30PM. Game two will begin at approximately 7:30PM.
Individual tickets for the Bedlam Game are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday, April 3. Tickets for any of the High School Showcase doubleheaders will go on sale on Monday, March 15.
The Drillers have also announced the hiring of eight new employees for the 2010 season. Joining the Drillers front office staff is David Ruckman as Video Production Coordinator, Kevin Butcher as Ticket Operations Assistant, Justin Gorski as Promotions Assistant, Matt Larson as Group Ticket Sales Assistant, Baylor Love as Merchandise Assistant, Darin McDermott as Video Production Assistant, Rob Peters as Marketing Assistant, and Matt Watson as Media/Public Relations Assistant.
