SOUTHAVEN, MS --- The Mississippi RiverKings of the Central Hockey League inched forward one spot in the latest Yellowbook CHL Coaches Poll released today from the league offices in Tempe, Arizona. Mississippi moved up to seventh among the top ten teams from the eighth position in the last rankings taken in mid-January.
The RiverKings have a 22-17-4 record after a 3-2 loss at Allen last night, but will be seeking to return the favor when the teams have a re-match Friday night, February 5th in Allen, Texas.

The Southern Conference-leading Odessa Jackalopes are a unanimous number one choice in the latest rankings, done by the league coaches twice each month. The 35-6-4 Jackalopes received 14 first place ballots (teams are not allowed to vote for themselves) for 140 points.
Northern Conference-co-leader Rapid City (28-10-3) is ranked second, moving up from third in the last poll. The 28-10-3 Rush did not receive any first-place votes, but received 117 points.
