2010 "Opening Day Double Play" Ticket Packages Sold-Out

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Mud Hens are pleased to announce the addition of 250 Opening Day Double Play ticket packages following the sale of the initial 500 packages for this two-day event. Fans will get a ticket to Opening Day (April 8) and a ticket to another game of their choice over Opening Weekend (April 9-11).

The additional packages will be placed on sale beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 8. The price for the ticket packages is $21.00.

Assistant General Manager/Ticket Sales & Operations, Erik Ibsen said, "As we look ahead at the start of our 9th season at Fifth Third Field, we are pleased that ticket sales are going well. The fans have always treated Opening Day at Fifth Third Field as an unofficial holiday and we can't wait until April 8."

The box office will also open for business on Monday, February 8 for all individual ticket sales for the 2010 baseball season with the exception of Opening Day (April 8). Some Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets for Opening Day will go on sale in the coming weeks.

**The Mud Hens have pre-sold over 250,000 tickets as of this morning for the 2010 season. This number equates to 45% of last year's total attendance.

Full and partial season ticket packages are currently available for purchase by calling (419) 725-HENS. All season ticket packages include Opening Day.
