Drillers Finalize 2010 Schedule

The Tulsa Drillers announced today the club's complete regular season schedule for their first year in new ONEOK Field in downtown Tulsa. The Drillers will play their first game in the park on Thursday, April 8 against Corpus Christi. It will be the 2010 Texas League opener for both teams.

The game will mark the first professional baseball game played in downtown Tulsa in over 80 years. The last game played in downtown was the final game of the Tulsa Oilers 1929 season. It was held at McNulty Park at 10th and Elgin.

The first-ever homestand at ONEOK Field will consist of six games, three each against Corpus Christi and San Antonio. Individual tickets for all six of these first games are now on sale at TulsaDrillers.com.

The Drillers will play a total of 70 regular season games at ONEOK Field. The schedule includes 10 games in April, 11 in May, 15 in June, 17 in July, 14 in August and 3 in September.

Of the 70 games, 47 will be played on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The 11 games that will be played on Friday evenings will all feature post-game Fireworks. The Drillers will also be home on Sunday, July 4 with an Independence Day Fireworks celebration taking place after the game.

The standard starting times for most games will remain at 7:05PM. Exceptions will include Saturday evening games played prior to June 12 which will begin at 6:05PM. Sunday games through June 6 will start at 2:05PM, while Sunday games from June 13 until the end of the season will begin at 6:05PM.

Tulsa will also play four afternoon games on weekdays. These dates include: Wednesday, May 5 (10:05AM), Tuesday, May 11 (12:05PM), Monday, May 24 (12:05PM) and Wednesday, June 16 (12:05PM).

The Drillers final homestand of the 2010 regular season will consist of a seven-game series against Northwest Arkansas and Springfield. The final game is scheduled for Friday, September 3.

ONEOK FIELD TICKETS ARE POPULAR

Tickets to ONEOK Field have been popular this off season as Tulsa fans and businesses have been purchasing tickets in all areas of the new park.

All 200 Club Seats that are located in prime sections behind home plate are now sold out.

In addition, the suites at ONEOK Field have been popular offerings, with only 1 of the 21 being offered on full-season, multi-year plans remaining available.

In addition to the one unsold suite, the Drillers have also designated two other suites for sale on a per game basis, and many dates for the upcoming season are still available. The nightly party suites offer a unique way to enjoy the new ballpark and include meals for all attendees.

For those not preferring a suite, there are many different season ticket packages still available that will provide full enjoyment of ONEOK Field this summer. Full-season plans start at only $420 per seat, with plans in premium sections being capped at only $630 per seat.

Discounts are being offered for those purchasers committing to 3 and 5-year season ticket plans.

In addition, season ticket holders can purchase a premium parking pass for the entire season for only $100 per car.

ONEOK Field also offers groups and companies many new ways to enjoy a Drillers game this season. Picnics, party platforms, conference centers and group outings are all still available for many dates. All offer unique ways to enjoy an outing in downtown Tulsa this summer.
