Potomac Nationals News Release

WOODBRIDGE, VA - The Potomac Nationals introduce Will Flemming as their new broadcaster and assistant director of media relations. Flemming joins the P-Nats after spending the 2009 season with the Lancaster JetHawks, where he served as the assistant director of broadcasting and media relations for the Houston Astros Class A affiliate.

Flemming will broadcast play-by-play for all 140 regular season games via webcast at PotomacNationals.com. He will also assist with media relations duties.

Flemming, a native of Alexandria, Virginia, graduated from Stanford University in 2002 with degrees in economics and Spanish literature. During his time with the Cardinal, he was a sportscaster for KZSU 90.1 FM. Following graduation, he spent two years as the director of marketing and business development with Stanford men's basketball. Flemming continued his career in business development and marketing for five years outside of sports before returning to broadcasting with the JetHawks last season.

Flemming's older brother, Dave, is entering his sixth season as a broadcaster with the San Francisco Giants and, at age 32, is the youngest active broadcaster in Major League Baseball.
