
Country Singer To Perform Following PrairieThunder Game

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - TJ Weaver, a country artist who performs regularly on the Las Vegas strip, will entertain fans following the Bloomington PrairieThunder game Jan. 31 in the Club Lounge at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The PrairieThunder faces Quad City at 4:05 p.m. in an International Hockey League game.
Weaver will perform from approximately 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission to the event is a ticket to the hockey game. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-745-3000 or at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum box office or PrairieThunder administrative offices at 318 W. Washington Street, Bloomington.
In addition to his many appearances at various hotels along the Vegas strip, Weaver also has performed at the likes of the Flamingo Hilton in Laughlin (Nev.), the Tropicana in Atlantic City (N.J.), the Seven Feathers in Canyonville (Ore.) and the Casino Magic hotel in Biloxi (Miss.).
During his career, Weaver has recorded four albums, one with RCA Records, and is about to release his fifth entitled "Arrived." He has shared the stage with popular recording artists Reba McEntire, Molly Hatchet, Vince Gill, Wynonna Judd, Trace Adkins, Pat Benatar, Leanne Rhimes, Lorrie Morgan, Sawyer Brown, Little River Band, Foghat and Three Dog Night.
The multi-talented singer and guitar player was the headline entertainer in the popular "Country Fever" show, which ran for four years at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. He later starred in the television show "Dancin' to the Hits," at the Flamingo Hilton where he expanded his talents as a singer and dancer, while performing a comedy routine.
Weaver also performed in the Emmy-award winning Las Vegas Stampede concert series to the theme song "Southern Boy" which he co-wrote and was eventually broadcasted nationally in over 140 millions homes.
