Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that LB Kevin McCullough, DL Josh Leonard, and DL/LB Jeremy Geathers have been added to the 2010 roster. Spokane Shock announced today that LB Kevin McCullough has been added to the 2010 roster. McCullough, 6-2 250, is the fifth member of the 2009 ArenaCup Champion Shock to join the team for the 2010 season. the past two seasons in Spokane, McCullough has collected 132.5 tackles, 15 interceptions, 13 pass break-ups and four fumble recoveries. is no question that Kevin was one of our leaders on defense last year, Head Coach Rob Keefe said. Not only is he a great football player but he is also a great example for other players. He works hard every day and wants to continue to improve. I think he is ready to take his game to the next level in the upcoming season.

For his part, McCullough has continued working hard in the off-season and hopes to shed some weight and add some quickness to his game. played the last couple of seasons at 250 and I want to lean up to about 240 and increase my speed, McCullough explained. I want to be more explosive this year and get some more pass break-ups and interceptions.

The Spokane Shock announced today that DL Josh Leonard has been added to the 2010 roster. Leonard, 6-3 300, was in training camp with the Houston Texans this season but was released during their final cuts. to joining the Texans, Leonard attended the University of Hawaii for two seasons and registered 48 tackles including five sacks in 26 games. Leonard transferred to Hawaii from Sierra College where he was recognized as a First Team All-American and recorded 33 sacks in just two seasons.

Josh is one of those players who just has a nose for the ball, Head Coach Rob Keefe said. He is an unbelievably gifted athlete who is very explosive who puts a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

The Spokane Shock announced today that DL Jeremy Geathers has been added to the 2010 roster. Geathers, 6-2 256, signed with the New Orleans Saints after he completed a three-year career at UNLV. a Running Rebel, Geathers played 33 games and registered 99 tackles including 18.5 sacks with five forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries. Jeremys size and speed he can be a real versatile player and line up as a speed rusher or as a MAC linebacker, Head Coach Rob Keefe said. When you have the kind of speed that Jeremy has, it shows in the Arena game. has a strong professional football lineage that includes his father, Jumpy, who played for the New Orleans Saints from 1984-1986.
