A Season Of Caring Wiith The Kinston Indians

Kinston, NC - The Kinston Indians announced today that 2010 will be a "Season of Caring" at Historic Grainger Stadium. Each of the 12 K-Tribe home stands during the 2010 season will be dedicated to a different local charity. During each homestand, money and awareness will be raised for the chosen charity.
"We are excited to give back to the local charities that do so much for Eastern North Carolina", says Kinston Indians General Manager Shari Massengill. "By dedicating an entire homestand to a charity, we hope not only to raise money, but more importantly raise awareness by having their constant presence at the ballpark."
The Kinston Indians have already lined up The Make a Wish Foundation, Children's Home Society, Battered Women's Shelter, ASPCA, The Red Cross, The United Way, Boys and Girls Club, Toys for Tots, Special Olympics, Big Brothers- Big Sisters, The American Cancer Society, The ALS Association, Backpack Buddies and The National MS Society to highlight the Season of Caring.
"The Kinston Indians have worked closely with and helped many of these great organizations over the years," says Massengill. "The Season of Caring is a great way to not only continue our relationship with them, but to make our fans more aware of all of the good going on in Eastern North Carolina."
