Grand Prairie, TX. The Grand Prairie AirHogs baseball team proudly announces that QuikTrip Park at Grand Prairie will be featured in Baseball America's 2010 Great Parks Calendar.The $20 million facility first opened in May of 2008 for the first season of Grand Prairie AirHogs baseball. Owned by the City of Grand Prairie, the stadium has received numerous accolades in its short existence including Ballpark Digest's "2008 Ballpark of the Year Award."
The multi-use venue hosts numerous special events from large-scale concerts, boxing/MMA events, football games, and numerous festivals and corporate promotions. Featuring 12 luxury suites, a 17,000 sq. ft. Wide World of Parks playground area, a right-field swimming pool, and a left-field sports bar and restaurant, the aviation-themed ballpark is considered one of the unique and innovative designs of the current minor-league baseball era.

The Grand Prairie AirHogs baseball team, owned by Ventura Sports Group, LLC. will begin their third season of independent professional baseball in May 2010.
