Comstock Park, MI - Tickets for groups of 20 or more for West Michigan Whitecaps baseball games will go on sale this Friday, November 20, at 10 a.m. Group ticket sales include all seven of Fifth Third Ballpark's private party locations and all barbeque packages.GROUP TICKETS Groups of 20 or more may reserve tickets for any 2010 game beginning on November 20 at 10 a.m. Group tickets are available in the reserved and lawn sections as well as in any of the seven private party locations: the Pepsi Stadium Club, Miller Lite House Deck, Pioneer State Mutual Insurance Deck in right field, Sharkwater Cove in the right-field foul territory, Centennial Securities Dream Deck in left field or either of the two Altogas Barbeque Decks. Private party areas can accommodate groups ranging in size from 20 to 350. Groups may also reserve luxury suites, which are available in two sizes and can hold groups of 20 to 40 people.
SEASON TICKETS Whitecaps 2010 season tickets are already on sale. Season tickets include all multiple-game ticket packages, including full season (70 games), and partial season plans (ranging from 5 to 35 games) as well as 12-game and 20-game flexbook packages.
New for 2010 is the Thursday Mug Club nine-game mini-plan, which includes a ticket to each of the nine Thursday games and centers around the popular Altogas Thrifty Thursday promotion, in which fans receive $2.00 food and drink specials. The Thursday Mug Club season ticket mini-plan will include a refillable drink mug and a Mug Club t-shirt as part of the package.
Whitecaps Director of Ticket Sales Chad Sayen said the Mug Club mini-plan is a great deal for fans of the Altogas Thrifty Thursday promotion, which has been growing steadily for several years.
"We've seen the ticket lines grow longer and longer on Thursdays because of the great deals on food and beverages," Sayen said. "This Mug Club ticket package is the perfect package for fans to purchase in advance and avoid the long lines at the ticket windows on Thursdays. It includes nine discounted tickets, a free t-shirt and refillable souvenir mug; combine that with the $2.00 beer, soda, soft pretzel or pair of hot dogs that are available every Thursday at the concessions stand, and you've got a great bargain." The 22-ounce refillable mug also gives customers a bonus two extra ounces of beer than the standard 20-ounce cups.
The Wendy's Tiger Fridays 6-pack is returning for a second season after its wildly popular debut last season. The plan includes tickets to all Friday games from June to August (six games) and includes a guaranteed Tigers giveaway item each day, in addition to hot dog and soda vouchers for each game. These six "Wendy's Tiger Fridays" will all feature a former Tigers player who will make an appearance at the game and sign autographs for fans.
Season tickets are now on sale. Current season ticket holders have until December 15 to renew their season ticket locations; after that date, new season ticket holders may select their seat location.
INDIVIDUAL TICKETS Individual tickets for the 2010 season will go on sale Tuesday, January 26 at 10 a.m. Prices will remain the same as in 2009.
