
Sundogs To Collect Food Donations This Weekend To Benefit Yavapai Food Bank

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Central Hockey League's Arizona Sundogs announced today that the team will collect canned food and non-perishable food items to benefit the Yavapai Food Bank this weekend as the Corpus Christi IceRays travel to Prescott Valley.
To encourage support, fans who make donations prior to the games on Friday and Saturday will receive a coupon good for 20% off in the Arizona Sundogs Team Store in exchange for their donation. Collection bins will be set up inside Tim's Toyota Center on the concourse near the arena's two main entrances.
Yavapai Food Bank assists roughly 2,000 people and provides 500 boxes of food on a weekly basis. Food items most needed include canned vegetables, canned fruit, soups and stews, dried pasta, rice, beans, cold cereals, canned meat and fruit juice.
Donations and financial contributions can also be dropped off directly at Yavapai Food Bank's Prescott Valley location at 8866 E. Long Mesa Drive.
Friday night's game against the IceRays is set for 7:05pm. Tickets start at just $14 and are available by phone at 1-866-4-GET-TIX (1-866-443-8849), online at www.gettix.net and in person at the Tim's Toyota Center Box Office.
