Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today WR Cleannord Saintil, DB/KR Chris Martin, and OL Harrison Nikolao have been added to the 2010 roster.

Saintil. 6-0 195, spent the 2008 season with the San Jose SaberCats and led the team in receptions (120), receiving yards (1503), and touchdown receptions (35).

"Saintil is one of the most explosive receivers to ever play Arena Football," Head Coach Rob Keefe said. "He is a very team-oriented player and he is hungry. His passion for the game is unparalleled."

Saintil's rookie season, in 2007, was cut short due to injury but he still managed to record seven touchdowns in only five games. In his first start as a receiver for the SaberCats, Saintil caught four touchdowns, including a 47-yard touchdown reception on his first catch.

Martin, 5-11 190, spent the 2008 season with the Grand Rapids Rampage, averaging over 20 yards per return as a kick returner and leading the league with six kick returns for touchdowns. Martin also finished second on the team with 85 tackles (75 solo tackles, 22 assists) and collected two interceptions.

Prior to his experience in the AFL, Martin played in the CFL from 2004-2006. In 2005, he started all 18 regular-season games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, collecting 45 tackles, two interceptions, two sacks and three forced fumbles.

"Chris Martin put up phenomenal numbers in the AFL and I know he will be able to put up those some kind of numbers again," Head Coach Rob Keefe said. "I'm really excited to have a veteran like him in our secondary and on special teams."

Nikolao, 6-4 313, is now the third member of the 2009 ArenaCup Champion Shock to return to Spokane.

Over the last two seasons with the Shock, Nikolao rushed for 191 yards and nine touchdowns. Defensively, he collected 20.5 tackles including seven sacks.

"Harrison has been an anchor for us the last two seasons," Head Coach Rob Keefe said. "He was a leader for this team this past season and I know that he can fill that role again for us in the upcoming season."
