66ers Dance Team Scares Up Community Spirit

Tulsa, Okla., October 28, 2009 - The Tulsa 66ers Dance Team and front office staff will be participating in multiple events over Halloween weekend, including HallowMarine at the Oklahoma Aquarium and HallowZOOeen at the Tulsa Zoo. The Dance Team will also be volunteering at the 2009 Tulsa State Fair Cheer and Dance Championship, held at Union High School on Saturday.

HallowMarine

HallowMarine is an annual event at the Oklahoma Aquarium, held this year from Tuesday, Oct. 27 through Saturday, Oct. 31. 66ers Dance Team members and front office staff will be handing out candy and 66ers 2009-10 season information to children during the event on Thursday and Friday from 6:30-9 p.m. The Oklahoma Aquarium is filled with carnival games, a trick-or-treat trail and plenty of pirates roam the Aquarium handing out treats and tricks! New this year, mermaid and pirate dive shows in the Coral Reef from 7:00 to 7:30 and 8:00 to 8:30 each day. For more information, visit www.okaquarium.org.

HallowZOOeen

A spooky, but not too scary, Halloween adventure is planned at the Tulsa Zoo's 20th annual HallowZOOeen beginning October 27th through the 31st from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Bring your boys and 'ghouls' to trick-or-treat in the coolest neighborhood in town! Get 'treats', play games and see zoo mascots as you roam the trick-or-treat trail. 66ers Dance Team members and front office staff will be handing out candy and 66ers 2009-10 season information during the event on Saturday evening. TSF Cheer and Dance Championship

66ers Dance Team members and front office staff will also be volunteering at the 6th annual Tulsa State Fair (TSF) Cheer and Dance Championship at Union High School, located at 75th and Garnett Road in Tulsa, and Saturday, Oct. 31 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. They will volunteer their efforts to help with the competition and will make their first public performance of the 2009-10 season around 2:30 p.m. to highlight the event. The TSF Championship gives out multiple trophies and awards through qualified judges, with teams and divisions ranging from elementary age kids through high school varsity teams.
