Shock To Hold Open Tryout In Spokane November 21st

Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that they will hold an open tryout for prospective players on Saturday, November 21st. The tryout will be held at the Shock Center, 3212 North Eden Road, beginning at 9 AM.

The cost of the try-out is $50 for those who pre-register and $75 at the door. Registration forms are available at www.spokaneshock.com

The playing surface for the tryout is turf and prospective players are asked to dress appropriately with athletic shoes, shorts and a t-shirt.

The format of the tryout will be a pro-style combine followed by position drills. Participants will run through a series of athletic tests that include: 1) vertical jump 2) shuttle run 3) 40-yard dash and 4) the broad jump. After testing, players will then break out into position-specific drills.

This will be the first open tryout for the Shock under new Head Coach Rob Keefe.
