Flyers Send Teslak Back To Phantoms

October 2, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL) Adirondack Phantoms

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that Philadelphia has returned goaltender Michael-Lee Teslak on loan to the Phantoms. Adirondack also announced their opening night roster for the beginning of their 2009-10 season presented by Bud Light.

Teslak, 23, was recalled to Philadelphia on October 1st and practiced with the Flyers before the team flew to Raleigh for their season opener against the Carolina Hurricanes Friday night at the RBC Center. He appeared in one preseason contest with Adirondack, stopping three-of-five shots through 30:04 of play in the Phantoms game at Albany on September 26th.

The Phantoms also announced Friday their 2009-10 season-opening roster. The current roster consists of 25 players (14 forwards, 8 defensemen and 3 goaltenders).

Forwards: David Laliberte, Jon Matsumoto, Garrett Klotz, Andreas Nodl, Matt Clackson, Patrick Maroon, Jason Ward, Jared Ross, Ryan Dingle, Josh Beaulieu, Lukas Kaspar, Rob Bellamy, Krys Kolanos and Jonathon Kalinski.

Defensemen: Joonas Lehtivuori, Joey Mormina, Kevin Marshall, Randy Jones, Oskars Bartulis, Michael Ratchuk, Sean Curry and Logan Stephenson.

Goaltenders: Michael-Lee Teslak, Jeremy Duchesne and Nic Riopel.

Adirondack opens the 2009-10 Regular Season on Saturday, October 3rd as they host the Worcester Sharks for a 7:00 pm face off at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
