Abbotsford Heat News Release
Abbotsford BC - The Abbotsford HEAT are pleased to announce that the HEAT will be hosting their North Division Rivals, The Manitoba Moose (Vancouver Canucks affiliate) in a pair of pre-season games to be held at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre in late September.
The HEAT and Moose will play their first pre-season game on Friday, September 25th, with the puck dropping at 7:30 p.m. The second game of this two game set will take place on Sunday afternoon, September 27th, with the opening faceoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
"These two games will mark the only games of our pre-season," comments HEAT President Tom Mauthe. "This will give our fans a chance to experience our building and the great atmosphere that will become a HEAT hockey tradition, as well as an opportunity to see a strong division rival in the Manitoba Moose who were finalists in the Calder Cup Championship last season."
