Most Hate Yankee Line-Up Presents Heavy Weight Bout at Shortstop

LOWELL, MA - The Lowell Spinners, Class A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, have been leading the charge to find out the "Most Hated Yankee Line-Up" of all-time amongst Red Sox fans.

Each week the Spinners have allowed fans to vote by position. To date the winners are:

Catcher: Thurman Munson 1B: Jason Giambi 2B: Chuck Knoblauch 3B: Alex Rodriguez LF: Johnny Damon CF: Bernie Williams RF: Gary Sheffield DH: Lou Pinella. Currently, Roger Clemens has a commanding lead for the Starting Pitching position, which will be announced tomorrow night during the "Talking Baseball with the Spinners" heard on WCAP 980 from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. live from The Skybox Restaurant in Tewksbury.

This week features the much anticipated showdown at the shortstop position pitting Derek Jeter vs. Bucky Dent. Tomorrow night on the radio show Dent is expected to be a special guest to talk about who he thinks will win between him and Jeter.

The Most Hated Yankee shortstop vote will begin tomorrow night and to vote fans must visit lowellspinners.com. The shortstop winner will be announced Friday night, June 19 as part of the Opening Night festivities along with the rest of the "Most Hated Yankee Line-Up."
