Dynamo release single-game tickets for most remaining MLS home games

HOUSTON, TX (Tuesday, May 12, 2009) - Single-game tickets for seven of the Houston Dynamo's final nine MLS home games are now available via HoustonDynamo.com and Ticketmaster.com, the Dynamo announced Monday.

Fans can now purchase individual tickets for games against Chivas USA (June 10), Real Salt Lake (June 20, September 19), the New England Revolution (July 25), D.C. United (August 1), the Seattle Sounders (August 23), and the Kansas City Wizards (October 4).

Tickets for the August 9 match against the Chicago Fire, which is Houston Area Chevrolet Dealers Bobblehead Night, and the October 18 game against the Los Angeles Galaxy, which is Amigo Energy Fan Appreciation Night, remain available only as part of the Fútbol Fanatico Pack and five-game mini-plans available at HoustonDynamo.com/tickets.

"Demand for Dynamo tickets has been brisk following the team's 1-0 victory over FC Dallas," said Dynamo Senior Vice President for Business Development Steve Powell. "We have developed several very attractive ticket packages for fans to attend Dynamo games this season, including youth soccer nights, corporate barbecues, and the McDonald's Family 4-pack, which include four games tickets and delicious food items from McDonald's. Fans interested in only buying single-game seats will now have the chance to purchase these seats through HoustonDynamo.com."

Tickets for the Dynamo's three home games in CONCACAF Champions League play will go on sale later this season after the announcement of group stage pairings.

The Houston Dynamo are a Major League Soccer franchise that has won two MLS Cup championships in its first three seasons and represented the United States in three consecutive regional championships. Currently in third place in the Western Conference, the Dynamo face the New York Red Bulls away on Saturday, May 16, and return home on Saturday, May 23, for a 7:30 p.m. game against the San Jose Earthquakes at Robertson Stadium.
