The Boston Breakers announced the signing of former Canadian National Team forward and WUSA Rookie of the Year Christine Latham to a multi-year contract this afternoon. Terms of the deal were not disclosed per team policy.
Latham, Boston's first international signing, is no stranger to American soccer having played for the San Diego Spirit of the WUSA in 2003 after a stellar four-year collegiate career at the University of Nebraska.
Boston Breakers Announce Partnership With Cambridge Health Alliance
The Boston Breakers have designated Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) as the team's Official Sports Medicine Provider, and an Official Medical Partner, it was announced earlier this week by both CHA and the team.
Among the terms of the two-year partnership between the two organizations (2009 and 2010 seasons), CHA will provide the team with a designated team physician and athletic trainer, and handle the team's injury treatment, imaging, physical therapy and rehabilitation needs.
