Ice Home This Weekend Riding 11-Game Home Win Streak

NETWORK ELEVEN: With home wins over Chicago and Green Bay last weekend, the Ice extended their home winning streak to 11 games which equals the all-time club record set last season from 10/13/07- 12/8/07. The league leaders end the first third of the season with a 16-3-1 record an 8-2-0 clip in their last ten games.

EASTERN DOMINANCE: The power has definitely shifted this season from the West to the East as Indiana, Cedar Rapids, Green Bay, Waterloo and Chicago show no signs of slowing down in the winning department as the five top teams in the East division have a combined record of 68-30-4, compared to the

49-51-9 mark for the top five squads in the West.

SCORE QUICK, HOLD LEAD: One ingredient to the Ice's sizzling start to the season is their knack for scoring first as the club is an impressive 13-0-1 when scoring first, including a perfect 10-0-0 when lighting the lamp first at Pepsi Coliseum. Indy has also been strong at holding their leads as the squad is 10-0-0 when leading after one period and a USHL-best 13-0-0 when leading after two periods of play.

PLAYER NOTABLES: Brett Bennett tops all USHL netminders in wins (13) and save percentage (.928)...Brandon Richardson is riding a five-game point streak (5G, 2A)....Ben Albertson has seven points (3G, 4A) in his last seven games....Shane Berschbach has six points (4G, 2A) in his last six outings...Stanislav Galiev has recorded eight points (2G, 6A) in his last six games...Torey Krug (15 pts) and Joe Hartman (13 pts) are second and third in the league in scoring among defensemen.

TEAM DELICACIES: The Ice is 7-2-1 against the East Division and 9-1-0 against the West Division with their lone loss to incoming opponent Lincoln....Indy is second in the USHL on the power play (21.0%) and has scored a power play goal in seven straight games and 11 of their last 12 contests.

CAMPUS TOUR: Patrick Cullen (2007-08) recorded four goals in two games for RPI last weekend...Garrett Roe (2004-07) registered four points (2G, 2A) for St. Cloud in a weekend sweep of Minnesota State...Mike Gurtler (2006-07) had a three-point weekend for Mercyhurst...Mike Del Mauro (2006-07) notched a goal and an assist on the weekend for Harvard...T.J. Syner (2007-08) and Matt Smith (2005-07) both scored their first collegiate goals for UMass and UNO respectively....Cody Reichard (2005-07) and Scott Darling (2007-08) both had wins in net for Miami and Maine.
