Colorado Ice to Hold Player Tryouts for 2009 Season

Fort Collins, Colo. - The Colorado Ice be holding player tryouts for the 2009 season on Sunday, October 26th from 10am to 1pm at Fort Collins Indoor Soccer at OD's Sports Crossing in Fort Collins, Colorado. OD's Sports Crossing is located at 218 Smokey St. Fort Collins, CO 80525.
Registration fees are $45 for pre-registered participants and $55 the day of the tryout. Cash will only be accepted the day of. Pre-registered participants may pay with check or credit card. Call (970) 472-0128 for additional registration information and to submit payment.
This will be a combine-style tryout with the following tested: height, weight, 40 yard dash, 225 bench x reps, vertical jump, and pro agility (right and left). Additional position-specific drills will be conducted. Tryouts will take place on artificial turf. No metal spikes or metal-tipped cleats allowed.
The Colorado Ice are entering their third season and are members of the newly merged Indoor Football League (IFL). All home games are played at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado.
