Wolf Pack Announce 2008-09 Schedule

HARTFORD, August 7, 2008: Northland AEG today announced the schedule for the Hartford Wolf Pack's 2008-09 American Hockey League season, the team's 12th AHL campaign.
The 80-game regular season kicks off with the home opener at the XL Center Saturday, October 11th, with faceoff at 7:00. The opponents that night are the arch-rival Springfield Falcons, whom the Wolf Pack will battle a total of ten times on the season, five at home and five on the road. The other adversaries whom the Pack will see the most in 2008-09 are their in-state rivals the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, also scheduled to tangle with the Wolf Pack 10 times.
The home opener is the first of 15 Saturday-night home dates for the Wolf Pack, and the schedule features 11 Friday-night home games. Of the remaining 14 home contests, three will be played on Sundays and 11 will be Wednesday-night games.
Faceoff for all home games is 7:00, except for Sunday games, which start at 4:00.
