The International League is excited to announce that three fans have been chosen as winners of the July portion of the International League 125th Anniversary Fan Photo Contest. Hundreds of photos were entered for the July category of "Mascots", and the three determined to be the very best were selected as the winners.

The grand prize winner for July is John Kazlo of Chester, Virginia. John's photo of Richmond's Diamond Duck leading a mascot race around the bases will be published in the 2009 International League Record Book. Just behind Diamond Duck is the Bon Secours Hospital Bunny.

The first runner-up is Jonathan Johnston of Louisville, Kentucky for his photo of Buddy Bat "crowd surfing" in a section full of Army Cadets from Fort Knox during Louisville's Military Appreciation Day. The second runner-up is Cindy Southern of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania for her photo of Columbus' LouSeal and Krash leading an on-field "chicken dance" at Cooper Stadium, joined by a group of kids on hand for a birthday party.

The Fan Photo Contest concludes in August with a new category - "Ballpark Promotions". Fans wishing to enter the contest should submit their best photos before 11:59 p.m. on September 1 by visiting www.ILBaseball.com/PhotoContest.

The winning photo each month will be published in the 2009 International League Record Book and the winner will also receive a Kodak digital camera and four box seats to see their favorite International League team during the 2009 season.
