NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Joe Hart, Jason Bennett, Brandon Vonderharr, and Doug Scopel have been selected to assume increased responsibilities within the Nashville Sounds organization related to the team's operations, marketing and advertising efforts, sponsorship sales, ticket sales, and communications.

"We wanted to reward the hard work, dedication, and positive results demonstrated by our local management team and give them increased autonomy to interact with the local community, Minor League Baseball, and the Milwaukee Brewers," said Nashville Sounds owner Al Gordon.

Joe Hart will assume the title of General Manager and be responsible for the overall operations of the ballpark and interactions with the Sounds' Major league affiliate and Minor League Baseball.

Brandon Vonderharr will become Executive Director of Business Operations and oversee all sales, advertising, promotions, and community relations and initiatives, such as the Sounds Reading Club Program and Faith Nights.

Jason Bennett will serve as Assistant General Manager and be directly responsible for the team's sponsorship and group sales.

Doug Scopel will serve as Assistant General Manager and oversee the club's media and public relations efforts as well as team travel.

"With the experience and expertise that these four individuals possess, I feel confident that baseball in Nashville will continue to thrive under their leadership," Gordon said.

Former general manager Glenn Yaeger will revert to his role as Chief Operating Officer of AmeriSports, LLC, the Sounds' parent company, a position that he held prior to being named the team's GM in 2001.
