New Britain, CT - Luke Hughes continued his offensive outburst with a 4-for-5 performance at the plate to lead the Rock Cats to a 6-4 win over New Hampshire. The Rock Cats have now won five-straight.

Hughes led off the bottom of the first with a double to right field and scored on Dustin Martin's single to put the Rock Cats ahead, 1-0.

In the third, Ryan Klosterman's solo home run for the Fisher Cats tied the game, 1-1. Travis Snider added a solo shot of his own that gave New Hampshire a 2-1 advantage.

The Rock Cats battled back in the fifth inning. Drew Butera and Hughes delivered back-to-back singles before Martin knocked both runners in with a triple to right field. Matt Moses' double scored Martin and Trevor Plouffe added an RBI single.

Butera's single in the fifth broke up an 0-for-28 slump at the plate. He finished with two hits.

Jacob Butler had a two-run double in the eighth for the Fisher Cats.

Rock Cats starter Jay Rainville (2-3, 9.00) turned in one of his finest performances of the season. Rainville, who retired the first five batters he faced, limited the Fisher Cats to two runs on five hits. He struck out five. Zach Ward continued his dominance out of the bullpen with a scoreless sixth. Armando Gabino picke dup his second save with a scoreless ninth.

New Hampshire's Brandon Magee (0-4, 6.47) left after 4 2/3 innings. He was struck for five runs on eight hits.
