Golden State Warriors assign O'Bryant to D-League's Bakersfield Jam

NEW YORK, NY - March 10, 2008 - Center Patrick O'Bryant of the Golden State Warriors was today assigned to the Bakersfield Jam. O'Bryant will join the Jam for the first time this season, following three assignments during the 2006-07 season. Golden State also announced that center Kosta Perovic has been recalled from Bakersfield.
O'Bryant has appeared in 22 games this season for Golden State and is averaging 1.5 points and 1.3 rebounds. He registered his best game of the season on November 16 in a win against the Los Angeles Clippers when he scored 10 points in 12 minutes. In 25 games for the Jam last season (23 starts), O'Bryant averaged 12.0 points and 9.6 rebounds in 32.4 minutes. This marks the 45th time an NBA player has been assigned to the D-League this season.
Perovic, who has appeared in 21 games for the Jam finishes his second assignment of the season averaging 9.4 points and 7.1 rebounds in 23.3 D-League minutes. In one game for Golden State this season, Perovic scored four points and grabbed four rebounds in seven minutes against the Milwaukee Bucks on January 19.
O'Bryant will be available for Bakersfield's next game, when they travel to the STAPLES Center to take on the Los Angeles D-Fenders on Wednesday, March 12.
