Orlando Titans News Release

Saint Paul, Minn. - The New York Titans, the Big Apple's first ever professional lacrosse franchise, lost 16-9 to the Minnesota Swarm on Friday, February 8. The team is set to head back home to the Garden to play the Buffalo Bandits on Sunday, February 10 at 12:30pm.

Ryan Boyle was the Titans leader in points on the night with five off of one goal and four assist. Casey Powell and Jordan Hall each scored two goals and dished one assist in the loss. Swarm forward Mike Hominuck was the game's point leader with three goals and three assists.

On Sunday, February 10 the Titans return to the Garden for their second home game of the season against the Buffalo Bandits at 12:30pm. The Titans played the Bandits on January 19 in Buffalo and lost a physical battle in the final minutes, 17-13.

"We played Buffalo a few weeks back and it was a battle throughout, down by one with five minutes left, we just could not overcome a very experienced team," said Titans head coach Adam Mueller. "Defensively we have played well in spurts and on offense the talent is there, we just need to play with confidence and take advantage of our athletes."

Individual tickets for Sunday's game are available through www.ticketmaster.com or the Madison Square Garden box office.
