
Grey Cup Festival Headquarters Unveiled Tomorrow

Toronto - Members of the media and CFL fans are invited to the official opening of the 2007 Grey Cup Festival headquarters at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. Brad Watters, General Manager, Grey Cup 2007, will be on hand to give tours of the festival area which features a 200,000 square foot licensed area that can accommodate over 10,000 people.
The festival area will include:
- Lays Fan Zone - A 3,600 square foot custom interactive area, complete with a billiards hall, providing fans with an opportunity to interact and engage with their CFL heroes in various activities.
- Purolator Legend's Lounge - Provides fans with the opportunity to converse and participate in activities such as tabletop shuffleboard with CFL Legends.
- Sony CFL Theatre - The Sony CFL Theatre will play significant CFL moments on state-of-the-art Sony HDTV's, providing fans with the opportunity to relax in a comfortable theatre atmosphere while enjoying all the amenities of the MTCC.
- PokerStars $ 1,000,000 Challenge - A 2,500 square foot poker hall featuring various poker tournament formats with Grey Cup prizing, highlighted by the CFL Players Showdown poker tournament.
Media and fans can also take in the PokerStars Pigskin Classic, taking place all day on Thursday, November 22. A touch football tournament featuring eight corporate teams, each squad will feature an active CFL quarterback playing as a member of their team. The event will take place on a special football field inside the MTCC, where fans can watch and cheer on their favourites alongside some esteemed CFL alumni. The teams will be quarterbacked by the following CFL players and alumni who will be available to the media during the warm up period at 11:00 a.m.:

- Marcus Brady - Montreal Alouettes
- Michael Bishop - Toronto Argonauts
- Henry Burris - Calgary Stampeders

An annual tradition celebrated by Canadians from coast-to-coast since 1909, the Grey Cup is Canada's largest professional sporting event. In addition to the thousands filling Rogers Centre on Sunday, November 25, the Grey Cup will be watched by millions of fans across Canada on CBC and RDS and in more than 160 countries around the globe. Toronto last hosted the Grey Cup in 1992 when Calgary defeated Winnipeg 24-10.
