Stanley Cup Day in Chilliwack

Hockey fans in Chilliwack will have the chance to see the Stanley Cup when it makes an appearance at Cottonwood Mall on Saturday July 28th. The Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks' General Manager and Chilliwack Bruins co-owner Brian Burke will be bringing hockey's Holy Grail to Chilliwack, giving local hockey fans a unique opportunity.

Burke, set to be inducted into the BC Hockey Hall of Fame Friday night in Penticton, and the Stanley Cup will arrive with a police escort at the TD Canada Trust entrance of Cottonwood Mall at approximately 11:30am. Fans wishing to have their photo taken with Burke and the cup can do so free of charge; courtesy of Ultimate Sports World at the Roger's Wireless Kiosk from noon to 3pm. Fans will also have the opportunity to win two Bruins season tickets for the 2007-08 season courtesy of Cottonwood Mall.

Also in attendance will be Bruins players Mark Santorelli and Matt McCue; the Bruins mascot Bruiser, and the Bruins Dance Team.

This event will be the only public appearance by Brian Burke and the Stanley Cup in the Lower Mainland - Fraser Valley region.

In conjunction with Ultimate Sports World and Revolution Photography, The Chilliwack Bruins will be offering fans a complimentary 8 X 10 photo of the Stanley Cup, alongside Stanley Cup Champion, Anaheim Ducks GM and Bruins co-owner Brian Burke, and you or your group.

This event also allows you a unique opportunity to purchase a framed, limited edition, personal Stanley Cup Portrait. Only 250 pictures of Brian Burke raising the Stanley Cup will be signed and numbered by Brian Burke for this once in a lifetime event. All net proceeds of these portraits will benefit the Chilliwack Bruins Education Fund.

Portrait 'A' features a picture of Brian Burke and you or your group posing with the Stanley Cup, a numbered and signed picture of Brian Burke lifting the Stanley Cup over his head the night that the Ducks won the Stanley Cup, and the now traditional Team Photo of the Anaheim Ducks and the Stanley Cup on the ice at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Portrait 'A' will sell for $249 + applicable taxes.

Portrait 'B' will feature a numbered and signed Brian Burke Photo as mentioned above, and also feature your picture with the Stanley Cup and Brian Burke. Portrait 'B' will sell for $179 + applicable taxes.

Portrait 'C' will feature your picture with the Stanley Cup and Brian Burke. Portrait 'C' will sell for $119 + applicable taxes.

Each of the portraits will have a brass plaque below the pictures that will read 'Stanley Cup Day in Chilliwack - July 28, 2007'. Every package will be professionally framed in solid black wood with acid free triple matting and the thickest anti-glare glass possible. This high end framing by Ultimate Sports World will preserve your memory forever and display your collection as a work of art. Your picture with Brian Burke will be professionally shot by Kelly Sheldon of Revolution Photography.
