
Icehogs Set Rally For Saturday At The Mentrocentre

Rockford, Ill.- In honor of the 2007 Colonial Cup Champion Rockford IceHogs, the IceHogs organization announced that they will host a rally for the team. Rockford won its first ever Colonial Cup Championship on Thursday night, defeating the Kalamazoo Wings 3-1 in Game Seven of the Colonial Cup Finals in front of 6,236 fans at the Rockford MetroCentre.
The rally will begin with a parade at 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin at American TV on East State Street in Rockford and will proceed down East State Street to the Rockford MetroCentre. The parade will end at approximately 6 p.m. at the MetroCentre.
At 6 p.m. fans are invited into the MetroCentre for a rally that is free of admission. Parking will be available in the Church and Elm Street parking garages downtown Rockford. The team will hold one final autograph session with the team and 2007 Colonial Cup Championship T-shirts will be available for purchase and championship hats can be reserved.
