Yesterday, Pirates forwards Trevor Gillies and Simon Ferguson were at the Grand Opening for the Shaw's supermarket locations in South Portland and Scarborough.

Wednesday, October 11th - Pirates forward Tim Brent has been selected as the Pirates/WJAB Player of the Week. Brent will join the Morning Show with Shoe and Joe on WJAB 1440AM/95.5FM on Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. Following the interview, fans will have the opportunity to win free Pirates tickets!

Sunday, October 22nd vs. Binghamton Senators 4:05 p.m. - Sunday will be the first of several "Skate with the Team" events sponsored by Weight Watchers. Fans are invited to bring their skates and join the Pirates on the ice after the game.

HOCKEY NIGHT IN PORTLAND! Saturday, October 28th vs. Providence Bruins 7:05 p.m. - AAA Member Appreciation Night. In celebration of 30 Years of AHL Hockey in Portland, the Pirates will be wearing throwback jerseys. AAA of Northern New England will be at the game taking pictures of fans with Crackers and Salty Pete and giving out great prizes.

IN THE COMMUNITY

Tuesday, October 31st -The entire Pirates team will make the first of many trips to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center. During this visit the players will be involved in the annual Halloween parade starting at 1:00 p.m.
