ABA to conduct rules meeting

Rochester, NY. Tom Chichester, ABA Director of Officials, today announced that he will be conducting his Eastern National rules meeting for ABA officials in Charlotte, NC on September 25th. The meeting will be held within the beautiful new arena housing the ABA's Carolina Thunder. Chichester stated, "Charlotte has worked out as an ideal location to conduct this meeting due to its more or less central location and the ease of flights in and out of the Charlotte hub airport. The meeting will have over 100 ABA officials in attendance from the East, South and Midwest. The one day meeting will feature various presentations of the overall ABA rules including the marquee, exciting 3-D rule.
Chichester added, "We are still looking for basketball officials in the St. Louis, Oklahoma City and Kansas City regions and will be conducting an official's view/recruitment session on the weekend of Oct 23, 24 in Kansas City. It will be conducted in conjunction with the Kansas City Knight's local free agent tryout camp set for the same weekend. Interested officials can choose either day."
