Pats Upend Raiders

September 24, 2016 - Regina, Saskatchewan - Jake Leschyshyn scored twice and added an assist to lead the Pats to their first win of the season, 4-2 in Prince Albert. Lane Zablocki chipped in with a goal and a helper while Braydon Buziak scored his second goal in his second game of his WHL career. The Pats led 1-0 but Prince Albert came back to lead 2-1 in the second. But the Pats responded with 3 unanswered and improved to 1-0-1-0. Jordan Hollett made 28 saves in the win. Pats Fall in Overtime

September 24, 2016 - Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats outshot the Prince Albert Raiders 45-30 on Friday night but lost their home opener 4-3 in overtime. Ian Scott made 43 saves in the win while Simon Stransky scored twice including the overtime winner. The Pats were led by Chase Harrison who had a goal and an assist. Braydon Buziak scored his first career WHL goal and Dawson Leedahl and Filip Ahl both recorded their first points in a Pats uniform. Tyler Brown made 26 saves in the loss. Scoring Summary F... Pats Acquire Rights to Jubenvill from Spokane

September 21, 2016 - Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats have made a trade with the Spokane Chiefs acquiring the rights to Defenseman Tyler Jubenvill ('99). In exchange, the Chiefs receive a conditional fourth round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft. Jubenvill is a native of Gilbert Plains, Manitoba and was originally selected by the Chiefs in the 9th round of the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.
