For the second time this season, Evansville Bluecats kicker Brad Zientara has earned Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors. The award came for his week 8 performance against the Ft. Wayne Freedom. Zientara tallied 11 total points as he was 8 for 9 on extra point attempts (the miss was blocked) and kicked a crucial 48-yard field goal late in the 4th quarter. The field goal provided the final 3-point margin of victory in the 71-68 win for the Bluecats.

Zientara is among the leaders in every kicking category in the NIFL. He is currently 9th in the league with an 84% PAT success rate and is in the top 10 in the league in field goal percentage.

This week, Zientara and his team take their show on the road to the Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri Saturday night. The ‘Cats will look to avenge a week 6 41-30 loss when they face the division-leading Show-Me Believers. The next home game is May 15th against the Atlantic City Cardsharks.
