
Xplosion Will Auction off Jerseys Saturday

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo Xplosion (10-1) will offer its fans a chance to purchase game worn jerseys this Saturday, June 7 when it takes on the Fort Wayne Freedom (5-6) in the regular season finale.
The team will wear a special all-black alternate jersey for Saturday night only, and it will then be handed over to the highest bidder in a silent auction. All 21 player's jerseys will be available for fans to bid on during the game, and at the end of the bidding period the person with the highest offer will walk away with a game worn Xplosion jersey.
The jersey will be essentially all-black with white numbers and gold trim. It will feature the Xplosion logo, the CIFL crest, and the player's name on the back.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Portage Rocket Football to help with equipment costs and field maintenance for the upcoming season.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm with radio coverage beginning at 7:15 pm on ESPN 1660.
