Wyoming Cavalry Looking for Interns

Casper, WY - The Wyoming Cavalry, a professional indoor football team and member of the National Indoor Football League, is now taking applications for "Cavalry Correspondent" internships for the 2006 season. Interns are needed to assist with the seven home game publications. The Cavalry season runs between March and July. The Cavalry Correspondents will begin meeting with Cavalry staff in December.

Qualified applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills, be well organized, be able to meet tight deadlines, and be able to show commitment and follow-through on projects. Those interested in working as a "Cavalry Correspondent" should send a cover letter, a resume, three letters of reference, and three writing samples to: Wyoming Cavalry, Attn: Argeri Layton, 800 Werner Court, # 125, Casper, WY 82601.

The Wyoming Cavalry is one of the inaugural teams in the National Indoor Football league (NIFL), and the first Pacific Conference Champion. 2006 marks the sixth season the Cavalry players will take the home field at the Casper Events Center. Head Coach, Shannon Moore, returns to lead the Cavs. The Cavs finished the 2005 season with a 10-4 record, and brought a home playoff game back to Casper.
