Women's Football Wins Telly

Nashville, TN-The National Women's Football Association (NWFA) has received a "Telly" award for their "Just Give Me The Ball" video. The video which was produced by Shot Wright Productions showcases the NWFA, it's players and teams.

The video won in two categories: Corporate Image and Low Budget (under $700 per minute). The Telly awards was founded in 1980 to showcase and give recognition to outstanding non-network and cable commercials and productions.

Catherine Masters, CEO and President of the NWFA couldn't be happier. "As a former television producer, I know how tough the competition is and winning these awards is a great honor to us and to Shot Wright Productions," she states.

The NWFA is the largest full contact women's football league in the world with 37 teams in 23 states and 3 full seasons completed. In 2004, the league will be showcased on the exciting new Football Network, with a game of the week.

"Since women's football is a brand new sport, TV exposure is a huge key in our overall success. Our league puts a lot of time and money into producing high quality programming and we are just delighted to see our efforts recognized by such an outstanding organization. To us, it's like winning an Emmy!", Masters adds.
