Game 4 Wrap-up – Wolves Win Again, 56-32, To Improve To 3-1; Several Have Great Knights At Macon

The Manchester Wolves won their third game in a row and second on the road in as many weeks with a convincing 56-32 triumph over the Macon Knights Friday night in Macon, Ga. Wolves QB Jake Eaton played another stellar game under center, completing 19-of-26 passes for 204 yards and four touchdowns with just one interception. Eaton was responsible for six total touchdowns on the night by also rushing for two scores. His strong showing earned him Offensive Player of the Game honors. Other Wolves players who stood out included WR/LB J.J. McKelvey and OS Jamaal Perry, a Georgia native. McKelvey was solid as usual on offense, catching six passes for 46 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, however, he caused even greater havoc with a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown and a sack, the first of his career. For his efforts on both sides of the ball, McKelvey was named the US Army Ironman of the Game for the third straight week. Perry had eight catches for 109 yards, one touchdown and also recorded the team's first kick return for a score on the season, a 54-yard scamper in the first quarter. Defensively, the Wolves kept the pressure on Macon QB Lionel Hayes all night, forcing him into two interceptions and knocking him down for two sacks. William "Rock" Haith earned the ADT Defensive Player of the Game award with 13.0 total tackles and three pass breakups.
