Manchester Wolves News Release
The Manchester Wolves, New England's professional arenafootball2 team, announced today they are teaming up with New England's own "Mad Fisherman," Charlie Moore for a commercial that will air on multiple stations throughout the region.
The Wolves will hold an open casting call this Wednesday, March 8 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. The first 60 fans to arrive at the arena's front entrance by 6pm dressed in Wolves attire will be allowed in for the shoot and featured in the spot. Fans are encouraged to paint their faces, and cover themselves from head-to-toe in Wolves gear. They should also bring hand-made Wolves signs like they are attending a real Wolves game.
"I'm really excited about this opportunity to team up with Charlie Moore," said Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella. "We have lots planned for our fans this year, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. It's all about giving back to the real stars, our fans, that have made us the third top drawing af2 team in the nation."
Moore , known for making a name for himself as one of the most outspoken, trash-talking angler around, will be on hand for this special commercial and to sign autographs for fans. Moore, who now resides in Derry, N.H. with his wife and three children, also hosts one of the hottest segments on ESPN2's Outdoors Block with the Beat Charlie Moore show that airs Saturdays and features Moore fishing against challengers from all walks of life on their home lakes. Such celebrity guests on the show have been Boston athletes Adam Vinatieri of the New England Patriots and Joe Thornton of the Boston Bruins, but Moore's guest list has branched out to include TV's Batman actor, Adam West, rocker Ted Nugent, and Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher John Smoltz of the Atlanta Braves.
