Manchester Wolves News Release

MANCHESTER, N.H. (December 21, 2005) - The arenafootball2 league office announced today that seven linemen have been assigned to play for the Manchester Wolves, New Hampshire's professional Arena Football Team for the 2006 season. Two of the linemen, DeShon Stovall and Floyd Black, have played for the Wolves previously, while the other five (Mike Lloyd, Aqua Etefia, Sylvester McGrew, Mike Petito, Ramal Fanteroy) will be entering their rookie season in the af2.

Stovall (6'2, 315) waged a good campaign for the Wolves during 2005 where the rookie played 12 games. The Akron, OH native collected eight tackles, one fumble recovery for a TD, one forced fumble, one sack and two quarterback hurries. Stovall trained with the AFL's Chicago Rush and NY Dragons in 2005 before signing with the Wolves.

Black (6-4, 310), a two-year af2 veteran from Harding University, will enter his second stint with the Wolves after being with the team briefly during their inaugural 2004 campaign, where he collected 2.5 tackles and one force fumble in three games played. The St. Louis, MO native was in the Atlanta Falcons training camp before signing with the Wolves in 2003. Last season Black played for the af2's Birmingham Steeldogs, where in eight games he tallied two tackles and one quarterback hurry.

"I'm happy to have Stovall back with us and to have Black's af2 experience," Wolves Head Coach Ben Bennett said.

Mike Lloyd (6'5, 280), collected 123 tackles and 27.5 sacks during his three-year collegiate career at Concordia University-Wisconsin. Lloyd, a Provo, UT native was a three-time CUW Athlete of the Year (2002-2004), and helped lead the Falcons to back-to-back conference championships. Lloyd was also one of 42 players selected to play for the American Football Coaches Association's Division III All-Star team that represented the United States against the Mexican National Team in the 2004 Aztec Bowl in Cancun, Mexico.

Aqua Etefia (6'2, 320), played both tackle and guard for Grambling State University . During his career he collected 48 solo tackles (11 for loss), eight quarterback pressures, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles, and three pass deflections. The Miami, FL native was also selected to play in the historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) ALL-STAR Classic game in New Orleans.

Sylvester McGrew (6'3, 285), played one season in 2004 for McNeese State University, where he started nine games for the Cowboys at defensive end, collecting 29 tackles, and five quarterback hurries. McGrew transferred to McNeese from the University of Florida where he played six games in two seasons. The New Orleans, LA native earned All-District and All-American honors at St. Augustine High School during his senior season, where he tallied 80 tackles and 14 sacks.

Michael Petito (6'0, 280), played his collegiate career at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where as a senior in 2004 he earned an All-WVIAC Defensive First Team award for his six sack, 17 tackles-for-loss season. Ramal Faunteroy (6'3, 272), played 41 games throughout his career at Shepherd University where he collected 110 total tackles. During his senior year in 2004 he was named WVIAC Defensive Player of the Week for his six-tackle (two for loss), one safety and fumble recovery effort against Virginia State. The Washington, D.C. native finished the season second on the team in tackles-for-loss (12) and tied for third in sacks (4).

With these seven additions, the Wolves 2006 training camp roster rises to 21 players, nine of whom are returning from last season.

"I can't wait for training camp to start," added Bennett. "It's going to be a battle, especially for the rookies who will be fighting for those last remaining linemen spots."
