Wolves Seen in Milford

February 11, 2008 - arenafootball2 (af2) - Manchester Wolves News Release

MILFORD, NH - The community is prepared for sightings of Wolves. In fact, they're excited about it, as are the Wolves themselves.

The Manchester Wolves professional arena football team will soon be calling The Hampshire Dome home as they begin utilizing it for practice during the 2008 season. The field area of 105 yards long by 60 yards wide will provide a safe and enjoyable training environment, and allow for opportunities that before did not exist. The Dome is a 94,000 thousand plus square foot arena with a 70-foot ceiling.

"We're going to be able to kick in the Dome - something that we were unable to do before," said Wolves General Manager Peter Morris. We have had a great relationship with NH SportsPlex, but we are trying to expand our territory and are excited about the football programs in the Greater Milford area and the opportunities afforded to us in the Dome facility.

"Wolves' games will continue to be held on Brady Sullivan Field at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester.

"We are very excited about building this new relationship with such a strong professional program," said Dan Wyborney, the Dome's General Manager. "The Hampshire Dome is looking forward to working with the Manchester Wolves to provide some great entertainment and community outreach to New Hampshire."

"I see it as a win-win. The Wolves are getting a state-of-the-art practice facility and we're getting what I consider to be one of the most exciting professional teams in New England," said Dome owner Rick Holder.
