Manchester Wolves News Release

MANCHESTER, NH (December 07, 2004) One of the first players re-signed by the Manchester Wolves as they begin the Ben Bennett era is linebacker/fullback Kelvin Fuller. Fuller showed solid play at both of his positions last season and the former Ferrum Panther will once again prowl the field in a Wolves uniform.

"I'm looking forward to coming back to Manchester this season," said an excited Fuller. He added, " the community was great to the team and we should have even more on-field success this year."

In college, Fuller was a four-time division III All Conference linebacker for Ferrum. The ironman nature of arena football had Fuller playing fullback as well. This was a duty that he did well. He played in 15 of the 16 Wolves regular season games averaging 2.2 yards per carry and scoring 3 touchdowns on the ground. He also averaged 15.5 yards per catch and had one receiving score.

The coaches are excited about re-signing Fuller as well. "I've watched Kelvin on tape," said new head coach Ben Bennett, " and his talent makes him a great addition for us."

In his rookie season of arena football, Fuller played four games for the Norfolk Nighthawks of the af2. He registered 18 total tackles, including four for losses and 2.5 sacks. While in college Fuller played 39 games for Ferrum recording 358 tackles. He led the team in tackles three of his four years, and had 23 tackles for a loss. A tenacious defender with good instincts on both sides of the ball, Fuller is a welcome signing for the 2005 Wolves.
