Wolves name local trio to hand public address announcing duties

MANCHESTER, N.H. (March 31, 2004) - The Manchester Wolves announced today that Rock 101 afternoon drive disc jockeys Fronk & Amber and Bedford resident Todd Wallace will be the team's new public address announce team in 2004. The trio will get their start next Saturday night, April 10, when the Wolves host the Quad City Steamwheelers at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The Wolves first home game of their inaugural season is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m.

"I think this group of Fronk and Amber and Todd will be a big-time hit with our fans," Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella said. "Todd will be our front man while Fronk and Amber mix it up in between. I expect them to do an outstanding job of keeping our crowds excited and entertained."

Jim Fronk and Amber are best known locally for their new radio show on Rock 101 called, "The Fronknation." Their show airs weekdays from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

"I'm looking forward to this for sure," said Fronk, a native of Woburn, Mass. "I'm a big football fan so I think it's great that arena football is here in Manchester. I'm honored to be a part of it."

Wallace, a marketing executive for Dunkin' Donuts, has mc-ed numerous events in the past for groups large and small. In addition, he also served as the pa announcer for the New Hampshire Phantoms soccer team during the latter part of their 2003 season.

The Wolves kick off their inaugural season in New Hampshire on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. against the Quad City Steamwheelers at the Verizon Wireless Arena. That night will truly be historic as the Manchester Wolves host the first arena football game ever played at the Verizon Wireless Arena. All fans through the doors on opening night will receive a FREE Manchester Wolves magnet schedule, courtesy of The Union Leader, 95.7 WZID, and Dunkin' Donuts.
