Manchester Wolves News Release

MANCHESTER, NH (March 08, 2005) Do you think you can drive a golf ball farther than a professional athlete? The Wolves are holding a second season ticket holder event Saturday March 19th at Johnny 9 Irons located at 183 Londonderry Turnpike in Hooksett, New Hampshire between 2pm and 4pm and a virtual long drive competition against Wolves players is just part of the fun.

"The Wolves fans are very important to the team and we enjoy getting the players and fans together for fun events before the season starts," said Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella.

The Johnny 9 Irons event is a chance for Wolves season ticket holders to meet all 35 of the players the team has brought to training camp. The fans will have a chance to interact with the players as they compete for the longest drive. Virtual drive participants are allowed to bring their own driver, 7-iron, and putter for the competition. Prizes include Wolves season tickets, autographed merchandise, and pro shop gift certificates. Participants also get a free video analysis of their golf swing.

"The Wolves have had a great relationship with their fans in their inaugural season and we believe that interactive events will only enhance these relationships," stated Wolves Managing Partner Steve Schubert.

If golf isn't your sport, Johnny 9 Irons also has three pool tables where you can challenge the players to a game. The virtual drive competition will be broken down into different age groups, and all season ticket holders are invited to have a great time and to get to know your Wolves a little better.
