MANCHESTER, NH (November 16, 2004) The Manchester Wolves, New England's arena football team, have had their game schedule for the 2005 season adjusted slightly. The Wolves will begin their season by taking on the 2004 ArenaCup champion Florida Firecats at home on April 8.
The Wolves enter their second season of af2 action in the Manchester area after the community embraced the team in their inaugural year and helped them rank in the top 4 in attendance nationwide.

Manchester's 2005 schedule consists of three, two game series (home/away) against rivals, Green Bay, Louisville and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and one three game series versus Albany (away/away/home) in the newly realigned American Conference Eastern Division. The results of these divisional games will very likely be the deciding factor in the Wolves drive for the playoffs. This season Manchester will take on three teams from the American Conference South. The 2004 ArenaCup champion Florida Firecats (home/away) will test the Wolves twice. The Macon Knights (home/away) also play Manchester two times. The South Georgia Wildcats (home), formerly the Cape Fear (N.C.) Wildcats, will visit the Verizon Wireless Arena once. Opponents from the Midwest Division of the National Conference for the 2005 include a visit from the Quad City Steamwheelers (home) and a trip to Memphis to take on the Xplorers (away).
