Hartford Wolf Pack News Release
HARTFORD, April 22, 2015: Global Spectrum, operators of the XL Center and Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced two Wolf Pack initiatives to help the victims of the recent massive apartment fire in Hartford's North End that left 35 families homeless.
The Wolf Pack are asking fans attending the team's first two home playoff games, tonight and this Saturday night, April 25 vs. the Providence Bruins, to bring donations to the games to help the affected families rebuild their lives. Items that are desperately needed include: bus passes, gift cards for local stores and restaurants, toiletries, new or gently-used children's spring and summer clothing, new underwear, school supplies and financial contributions (donation checks should be made out to Phillips Metropolitan CME Church, Memo: Fire Victims, and monetary donations are tax deductible).
All of the items and monetary donations collected at the two Wolf Pack playoff games will be turned over to the Phillips Metropolitan CME Church, which has established a resource center to assist the families affected by the fire.
In addition to the donation drive, the Wolf Pack and the Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation will donate tonight's and Saturday night's proceeds from the Wolf Pack 50/50 raffle to the assistance effort.
Tickets for the first two Wolf Pack playoff games are available at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499. Wolf Pack tickets start as low as $12 for youth 12 years old or younger.
To speak with a Wolf Pack representative about season or group tickets, or any of the Wolf Pack's many ticketing options, call (855) 762-6451.
