Wizards Playoff Tickets Now Available

KANSAS CITY, MO (Wednesday, September 29, 2004) - The Kansas City Wizards have announced today that seating for Wizards Season Ticket Holders as well as group tickets and Wendy's Family Packs for the Wizards first round playoff match are now available through the Arrowhead Box Office, located at Gate D1 of the stadium. The Wizards clinched a spot in the playoffs with their 1-0 win against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night and will host a home playoff game on either Saturday, October 23rd or Saturday, October 30th. Individual tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster once the exact date has been finalized.
The Wizards currently sit in first place in the Western Conference with a 13-9-5 record (44 points). With a win against Los Angeles, the Wizards would clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs and would host the second leg of the two game, first round series at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, October 30th. Kickoff for that match would be at 7:30 p.m. CT. The Wizards first round opponent will be determined by the final standings at the completion of the regular season.
A Kansas City tie against the Galaxy this weekend would also ensure the Wizards of finishing no lower than second and would also secure a home playoff game on October 30th. Kansas City can also be assured of finishing no lower than second in the West if the Colorado Rapids tie or lose to the San Jose Earthquakes at home on Saturday, October 2nd.
Should the Wizards win this weekend and clinch home field advantage, then win their first round playoff series, they would then host the Western Conference Final at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday, November 5th.
Ticket prices for the Wizards home playoff game are $22 adult/$16 youth (15
and younger) for Club Level, $18 adult/$13 youth for Lower Level Sideline
Reserved and $13 adult/$9 youth for General Admission to "The Yard".
Individual tickets will go on sale once the Wizards home playoff date is
determined. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling

The Wizards will also offer the Wendy's Family Pack for their home playoff
game. Fans can purchase a package of four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft
drinks, four coupons for Wendy's Frosty's and a soccer ball. The package is
available for $54 for sideline reserved seats and $44 for endline general
admission. Group tickets are available for groups of 20 or more for the
discounted rate of $13 adult/$8 youth for sideline reserved and $11 adult/
$7 youth for general admission. Wendy's Family Packs and Group tickets can
be purchased through the Wizards Box Office at the Stadium or by calling
816-920-9300. As always, Zard Card holders can purchase $5 general admission seats at the
Wizards Box Office for themselves and each accompanying family member in
"The Yard". All unused Season Tickets and Ticket Vouchers can be exchanged
