Winners of Eight Straight take on Macon Trax on Friday Night

The Winston-Salem Parrots look to make it nine in a row Friday Night @ 7:30PM at the Joel Coliseum Annex against the Macon Trax. It's the Parrots final home game in Winston-Salem until January 23rd. Following Friday's game, the Parrots head on the road for four games.

The Parrots head into Friday's game in third place in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League with a record of 16 wins & 10 losses. The Macon Trax are in sixth place in the ACHL with a record of 11 wins & 19 losses.

Parrots Leaders:

Chris Cerrella is tied for third in ACHL scoring with 21 goals & 24 assists for 45 points.Cerrella is also second in the ACHL in goals scored with his 21.

Matt Holmes is tied for the ACHL lead in shorthanded goals with 3. Holmes leads the ACHL in game winning goals with 5. And he continues to lead the league in shooting percentage with 13 goals on 46 shots; good for a 28.3% shooting percentage.

Defenseman Andrew Dickson leads the ACHL in +/- with a +28 rating.

Goaltender Dan McIntyre continues to lead all goaltenders with a 1.87 goals against average and a 94.6% save percentage.

Macon Trax Leaders:

Macon also has two scorers in the top ten ACHL listing. Forwards Thomas Stewart (16 goals & 25 assists) and Luke Murphy (15 goals & 26 assists) each have 41 points and are tied for fifth in ACHL scoring.

Parrots tickets are $8.00 & $10.00, with a $2.00 discount for children 12 & under, seniors, and students with a valid student I.D. Tickets are available at the Joel Coliseum Box Office right up until Friday's 7:30PM face off.
